Here we are after, 18 years together, (and lots of political and religious ugliness), getting married. It was a lovely, simple, rather impromptu ceremony and we were surrounded by love.
*gasp* I LOVE the two of you with your bouquets! SO beautiful.
you know, I have to admit, on the outset, as a "christian" (whatever the hell that word means!) i have a hard time digesting same sex union. but then I see how happy and marvelous committed couples are and I have to ask myself, "but... in WHAT way exactly is this wrong?"
FWIW: I have two sisters that prefer same sex relationships but neither have been able to find their soul mate. It makes me sad for them.
